Designing beauty is Bella’s passion. For more than 25 years, Bella has been a dream weaver … creating unforgettable haircuts, color and styles for today’s woman. Raising hair design to a new level, Bella proves herself as a unique and talented designer, sculptor and true artist. Brides, socialites and women everywhere are drawn to her visionary design and buoyant character.
From age 13, Bella was inspired by fashion and art. She soon found herself designing dresses for friends and family. Bella’s love for fashion drew her to beauty school. She wanted to advance her dressmaking skills by creating unique gowns and designing the hairstyle and makeup to complete the look. She fell in love with the beauty industry at first sight. Bella concluded that dressmaking took many tedious hours and days but that hairdressing only took three hours to achieve beautiful results. Plus, she enjoyed the fun, upbeat environment of the beauty industry.
At age 19, Bella graduated college with high honors in accounting and economics and had established a small client base for hair and makeup. At age 24, she moved to Europe from Iran to further her education. At age 26, she arrived in the United States and pursued her cosmetology license. After receiving her license, she started traveling to advance her education, attending classes at Vidal Sassoon with Tim Hartley and Anthony Mascolo for Toni & Guy’s to learn one-on-one from master educators within the fashion and beauty industry. Bella traveled to London and studied with Patrick Cameron, Rita Rusk for Rusk Company, Trevor Sorbie, Sanrizz, Mahagony and Cobella. In Paris, she advanced in master cut and color courses from L’Oreal Academy and advanced hairstyling courses at Alexandre de Paris Academy.
In Milan and Barcelona Bella attended top bridal fashion shows and hair shows. In New York, she took more courses from L’Oreal Academy, attended courses from Jacques Dessange, Beth and Carmine Minardi for Redken, and many more. Back in Los Angeles, she took many master courses such from Vidal Sassoon, Wella Sebastian, Robert Cromeans for Paul Mitchell, and Andre Nizetich for Board of Certified Hair Colorists. After mastering the art of coloring and styling, she became an educator for L’Oreal Professional at age 29. In 1994, Bella established Bella Nella Salon & Day Spa in Glendale, Calif. As her business evolved, Bella joined Your Beauty Network (YBN) and received business coaching from the very best in the industry, Susie Carder and Julie Shepperly. This very process took her salon to a higher level and sharpened her educational and coaching skills. In 2007, she established Bella Nella Bride in Glendale, Calif. Some of her most recent business and life coaches are Lisa Nichols and John Assaraf.
Today, Bella Nella Salon influences the fashion and beauty industries by launching new designs and products from around the world, continually setting the trends of tomorrow.
